Religious Book Club Open to both men and women, the Religious Book Club meets at 1:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month, from September through May. A different book is read each month and discussed at the meetings. Sometimes these discussions get very lively! If you enjoy reading, you will enjoy being a part of this group.
The Book Club will be discussing the book, Blood Red Murder by Elise M. Stone. This is book 2 of the African Violet Club Mysteries that are loaned to us by Sue Davis.
A new resident to the Rainbow Ranch Retirement Community, Ruby is a friend of resident, Willie O'Mara from many years ago. She is murdered during an African violet repotting demonstration when the residents are crammed closely together. Thinking he is the only one that knew Ruby, Willie becomes the primary suspect. In order to prove his innocence, resident Lilliana comes to the aid of the small-town police chief.
This month's meeting will be held on Tuesday (a change of date), April 23 at 1:00 pm. Please join us. If you would like to read the book before the meeting, send an email to anne@jmorgart.com or just join us for the discussion and treats. |
